Job Description
-
Develop sophisticated financial modeling and analyses, including discounted cash flows, IRR analysis, NPV analysis, etc.

Assist in the underwriting, documentation, monitoring and administration of commercial real estate debt, with a focus on construction/development projects
-
Maintain and develop complex financial models for each asset utilizing Microsoft Excel and Argus
-
Assist in performing refinancing analyses, quarterly valuations, sell/hold analyses, leasing NPV/NER, and other ad hoc requirements

Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual lender and investor reports and presentations
-
Assist in interactions with and analyses for lenders, investors, ground lessors, and other stakeholders

Create presentations for senior management and investors summarizing property and portfolio status
-
Develop a working knowledge of leases, loan documents, partnership agreements, and other agreements to assist with general responsibilities

Compile and maintain quarterly Asset Manager reports

Assist in the preparation of property budgets, quarterly reforecasts, and variance analyses
-
Assist in the creation of the annual business plans for each asset or portfolio

Act as a liaison to other departments within the Company

Monitor and evaluate property operating performance and capital improvements relative to business plan

Interact with internal systems and software to effectuate daily responsibilities

Bachelor's Degree in finance, real estate, accounting, or related field
-
A minim of 3-5 years of experience as an analyst in an investment bank, institutional real estate investment firm, or the commercial real estate department of a commercial bank

Understanding of real estate fundamentals, financing principles, and basic capital structures

Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills

Proficient in Word and PowerPoint; Argus and Kardin skills a plus but not required Effective oral and written communication skills

Outstanding quantitative and analytical skills

Ability to work both independently and as a team member
