NYC Based ANALYST - Real Estate Private Equity - JOB OPPORTUNITY at Global Holdings

The Ideal candidate will be an important member of the acquisitions and finance teams. They will assist senior team members in the sourcing, underwriting, negotiating and closing of potential equity and debt investment opportunities and the day-to-day management of a large real estate portfolio.

Experience:  We are looking for a recent college graduate with 0-2 years of real estate experience (undergraduate class of 2017, 2018, or 2019) who can join the team and hit the ground running in our NYC office for a relatively immediate start.  Prior summer or full time real estate experience in investment/private equity, acquisitions, banking, finance or similar helpful.

Position Description:

• Create, assemble and modify complex financial analyses, including cash flow projections, valuation models and sensitivity analyses, lease calculations, development models, and budget analysis.
• Coordinate due diligence on assets, properties and portfolios and assist in closings.
• Able to work both independently and in a team setting across a wide variety of work streams simultaneously
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Demonstrated research, analytical, financial and quantitative excel skills; Exposure to Argus helpful
• Critical thinker that can find solutions to new problems
• Must have demonstrated interest in the nuances of the real estate investment business
• Solid presentation and interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well with senior executives both internally and with our investment partners
• Motivated self-starter with strong work ethic and desire to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented and entrepreneurial environment
• Excellent verbal, written, and quantitative skills
• Strong educational background with a history of academic excellence
