Acquisitions Analyst

LivCor is looking to add an analyst to its acquisition team supporting Blackstone acquisition underwriting efforts.  The role will be critical in supporting Blackstone in its effort to grow LivCor’s multifamily real estate portfolio by primarily underwriting new acquisition opportunities and performing live deal due diligence.  The ideal candidate must exhibit strong underwriting skills and passion for multifamily real estate. In addition, s/he will have at least 1-3 years of analytical experience in real estate acquisitions, asset management, operations or real estate investment banking.

This role will report to LivCor’s Manager of Transactions Support for LivCor and will assist in underwriting all new acquisitions for LivCor.  The candidate will assist in underwriting efforts related to all new acquisition activity, communicating with both Blackstone’s acquisition team as well as the LivCor team, particularly the Asset Management team members.

Cultural fit with the LivCor team is critical. Compensation will be commensurate with the market and the individual’s experience.

As the Acquisitions Analyst, one is held accountable to, however not limited to, the following job functions: 

• Underwrite new multifamily acquisition opportunities in LivCor target markets
• Build/maintain financial models, review leases, property financials and third-party reports
• Perform investment due diligence particularly related to likely operational performance
• Perform targeted research projects
• Assist in the asset management of portfolio properties
• Some travel required

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree with course work in finance/business and real estate
• 1-3 years of relevant real estate experience (asset management, operations, banking and/or acquisitions)
• Passion for real estate and investing
• Experience in multi-family real estate
• Demonstrated track record of high achievement in demanding professional and academic settings
• Superior analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and all Microsoft office applications
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized, motivated, energetic and independent with strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent references
