Land Acquisition Associate

Job Description

The Land Acquisition Associate performs land acquisition research and analysis to identify, evaluate, track and procure new land acquisition opportunities throughout Northern California. The Land Acquisition Associate works with senior staff on acquisition offers and negotiations with exposure to the full scope of the transaction side of real estate development. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, with excellent interpersonal skills, who can manage multiple assignments and a variety of project tasks that range from fostering relationships with property owners and real estate brokers -- to analyzing large sets of property data.  Organizational skills, multi-tasking, and communication skills are paramount.  We are looking for candidates who are self-motivated and who can use critical thinking to deduce next steps in a high-volume environment. QUALIFICATIONS

• 1 to 4 years of industry experience in residential or commercial real estate
• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred
• Creative problem solver with strong interpersonal skills
• Analytical and organized with strong attention to detail and deadlines
• Adept in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
• Some financial modeling skills are preferred
