SUMMARY


Directly oversees a team of technology professionals and projects focusing on information systems activities, including design, development and administration of applications building data ingestions and ETL processes; building and managing analytics applications. Manages multiple projects or initiatives. Assists in the development of application architecture and design strategies. Proactively identifies areas for improvement and initiates the appropriate action.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Manages, coaches, and trains a team of Digital & Technology staff and oversees multiple projects. 


Lead analysis, architecture, design and development of multiple integration solutions delivery.

Lead a team of developers in delivering enterprise scale and complex analytics and document management applications.

Lead a team of developers in delivering enterprise scale API's.

Collaborate with Enterprise Architects to define & build short and long-term integration platform capabilities and roadmaps to the different integration strategies.

Responsible for developing and executing multiple, simultaneous project plans the scope of efforts to support enterprise level integrations.

Works with internal and external teams to deliver updates, resolve issues, and manage the product lifecycles.


Partners with the Product Manager on the product backlog, influences technology aspects towards refinement of features stories as well as prioritization.


Develop requirements documents and use cases for new product features working with stake holders.


Contribute forward-thinking innovation and ideas to projects that introduce new technology and processes to increase business value and improve end-user experience


Serves as the digital & technology liaison for the area of responsibility, primarily for internal clients.

Documents procedures and standards and performs other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES


Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area.

Approves subordinate's recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination.


Effectively recommends same for direct reports to next level management for review and approval.


Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime.


Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies.


Leads by example and models' behaviors that are consistent with the company's values

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE


Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university and a minimum of six to ten years of related experience and/or training.


COMMUNICATION SKILLS


Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business and systems documentation. Ability to describe technical issues in a way that others in D&T will be able to understand and act upon them.


Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.


FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE


Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate complex figures. Ability to forecast and prepare budgets. Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports.


REASONING ABILITY


Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
