Job Title: Property Management Coordinator
Location: Seefried Industrial Properties, Inc. – Atlanta, Georgia
Reporting Structure: Reports to Senior Property Manager(s)
Seefried Industrial Properties (‘Seefried’) is a privately held commercial real estate development firm that specializes in the development, leasing and managing of industrial and office-warehouse space across the country. We are looking for qualified candidates to fill this newly created position that will take ownership of the administration, coordination and support of the property management department. The successful candidate will have a passion for real estate, high attention to detail and ability to multitask in time sensitive situations. This position will interact daily with the property managers, property accountants as well as some interactions with Tenants.
What you will do:
- Support the daily efforts of the property management team
- Serve as liaison between property management and property accounting
- Responsibilities in invoicing, AP/AR, assisting with monthly financial reports and vendor contracts
- Interact with Tenants and ensure the property manager is aware of any urgent situation
- Assist with tax and Insurance reconciliations
- Collect and maintain files on Tenant Certificates of Insurance and HVAC Service Contracts
- Prepare Tenant Accounts Receivables letters and follow up notifications, including assessment of late fees allowed in the Lease
- Update tenant and vendor contact sheets, utility spreadsheets, lockbox locations
- Assist in all general administrative duties as required
What competencies/skills/personality traits do you need to have?
- Self-starter with a passion for real estate and ability to communicate with property management team
- Working knowledge of or desire to learn Yardi/MRI/AVID or any other property accounting software
- Strong writing, communication and project management skills
- Highly analytical, strong written and verbal communication, resourceful, and one who takes the initiative and is confident in one's work and abilities
- Extremely well organized with the ability to effectively multi-task and handle large workload, while maintaining a positive attitude
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Desire to innovate and implement systems to ensure operational efficiency is a necessity
- Strong sense of urgency about solving problems, meeting deadlines, and achieving goals
Education and Experience required:
- College degree in real estate, business or another related field OR
- Equivalent work experience
- Strong computer skills
