Analyst / Associate - Pre Masters Position

Dunbar is seeking an Analyst or Associate to work closely with both the acquisitions and asset management teams to underwrite new deals, support acquisitions and asset management efforts, perform economic and market research, and assist with project management tasks. The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of experience in the real estate industry and has strong quantitative, analytical and communications skills. The candidate must be a highly motivated self-starter, have the ability to work both independently and in a team environment, and be able drive multiple tasks with competing priorities.


Primary Responsibilities:

• Underwrite potential acquisitions and perform investment due diligence
• Create investment memoranda and other presentation materials for prospective acquisitions
• Communicate and collaborate with various partners, brokers, lenders, and other third parties
• Assist in the management of capital projects
• Work with the Asset Management team in negotiating new leases and lease renewals
• Build budgets for existing assets
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual asset reports

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience; real estate finance and /or management is strongly preferred
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills
• Advanced working knowledge of Excel, ARGUS (preferred), and other Microsoft Office suite products
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
