The Senior Analyst - Transactions is responsible for providing financial and strategic analysis while providing support to the Transactions department.
As the Senior Analyst - Transactions one is held accountable to, however not limited to, the following job functions:
  • Perform analysis and support for underwriting, due diligence and closing of investments and dispositions by collecting information and preparing, reviewing, and summarizing various reports.
  • Assist in modeling acquisition opportunities and conduct analyses on cash flow, valuation, and other assumptions.
  • Produce and review investment packages by highlighting economic, demographic, and market data as well as delivering SWOT analyses for senior management
  • Conduct various analyses related to leasing deal approval and key operating metrics
  • Communicate with external parties regarding transaction activity including the equity sponsor, partners, brokers, lenders, lawyers, and prospective investors
  • Support the Asset Management Department with disposition analysis and quarterly Board Book presentations
  • Spearhead special projects as directed by the CEO or EVP of Asset Management
  • Assume additional responsibilities and perform special projects as needed or directed
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor s Degree in business administration, finance, or related field
  • 2-5 years of financial experience
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis concepts, including, but not limited to, rates of return, cash flows, net present value and realization
  • Understanding of general real estate capital markets and trends
  • Advanced knowledge of various financial and acquisition modeling techniques
  • Ability to interpret, analyze, and comprehend the results of the various financial models
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, excellent interpersonal and writing skills, ability to prioritize, high degree of integrity, and collaborative
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong knowledge of Argus Enterprise or DCF
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous experience in real estate private equity or REIT role, preferably in retail or office
  • Exposure to both corporate and asset-level real estate financial modeling
  • Experience with MRI or related Accounting Software
