Job Description

The City of Beverly Hills Policy and Management Department is seeking a highly motivated and qualified candidate for the position of Management Analyst. The ideal candidate would have strong experience working with Commercial Real Estate, Commercial Leasing or Development, Property Management, and Leasing Management software (i.e. Yardi, CoStar, etc.). The ideal candidate will have experience with spearheading lease negotiations, acquisitions of real property, as well as coordinating property management and lease administration activities. Candidates must  possess  exceptional customer service skills and analytical  abilities,  attention  to  detail,  and strong communication (written and verbal) skills. This position will require innovation, collaboration and continual communication with the internal and external stakeholders. The ideal person would also be a conscientious and creative problem solver with strong ability to adapt to change and a fast-paced working environment. This position will report to a Policy and Management Analyst. The City of Beverly Hills owns an extensive portfolio of properties leased to commercial tenants for investment purposes and public benefit. Many properties are located in the Business Triangle and in the vicinity of 3rd Street and Foothill Road. The wide range of spaces includes several restaurants, multiple office buildings, ground-floor retail locations, several telecommunications sites, ground leases, two residential properties, a small newsstand, and a small concession shop. The City also owns a large office complex and two single-family residences in Los Angeles as well as a surface parking lot in West Hollywood. City tenants include Ferragamo, David Yurman, Crate & Barrel, Williams-Sonoma, Keller Williams, Google, Participant Media, and more. The Policy and Management Department leads all negotiations for lease and acquisition of real property and coordinates property management and lease administration activities between the Public Works and Finance Departments.
