Job Description
Livingston Street Capital, LLC is seeking a Senior Asset Manager to develop and expand a top tier asset management team. Livingston Street Capital LLC is a fast-growing commercial real estate investment company focused on three distinctive investment strategies. These include multifamily/55+ active adult communities, healthcare and mission critical/strategic properties across the United States. The property types range from multifamily assets, active adult senior housing, office and industrial. To date, the portfolio has been invested for core and core plus return profiles with a significant number of long-term leases and highly passive assets. This position will be responsible for the operations and strategic business plan execution for a portion of the company’s portfolio. This position will also contribute to matters related to the acquisition, financing and redevelopment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the operations and asset management of a commercial real estate portfolio which will include residential assets (55+ active adult senior living assets)
- Review and analyze financial performance, assess and benchmark performance as well as develop and facilitate the execution of comprehensive asset plans
- Drive revenue and income performance through effective cost management
- Communicate results and key property initiatives, strategic alternatives and operational suggestions to executive team
- Oversee both third party property management and other key constituents
- Coordinate with internal accounting team to review reporting and property valuations
- Coordinate with internal accounting team to review annual budget and approval process
- Interact directly with tenants to help troubleshoot issues
- Facilitate annual investor communications
- Recommend and implement best practices
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in the commercial real estate industry required in asset management, portfolio management, property management and/or development
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical, organizational, written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work independently but maintain a collaborative working style

- Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Yardi, Argus and Microsoft Outlook required
- Experience with multiple asset classes a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Ability to travel (less than 40%)
