Analyst

Analyst Position Overview:

Entry level role.

S3 Capital Partners is seeking to hire a highly-motivated, dynamic individual to join the company as an analyst.

The analyst’s primary responsibility will be to support the company's underwriting, asset management, and financial analysis/reporting functions. In this capacity, the new hire will work with originations and senior management to gain an in-depth understanding of the business.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze opportunities to affect the firm’s investment strategy
• Oversee the due diligence/underwriting process for potential new investments
• Prepare Investment Committee memorandums describing potential new investments and   participate in presenting them to the firm’s Investment Committee
• Develop and maintain financial models
• Assist with marketing presentations and other investor relations functions

Requirements:

• Self-learner
• Strong excel skills
• Sound understanding of real estate finance
• Familiarity with NY residential real estate market
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI is a plus

Firm Overview:

S3 Capital Partners is a private bridge lender that provides debt to real estate developers in New York City and surrounding markets. S3 provides interim mortgage financing to developers and investors in situations where traditional banks cannot compete.

S3 mitigates risk by making investments in NYC, where properties have historically maintained value and have been able to recoup value faster than in other markets. S3 principal's experience as real estate equity investors allow S3 to view underwriting through an equity lens with a more informed view of an asset's overall worth.
