Financial Analyst

REAL ESTATE FINANCIAL ANALYST

The Real Estate Financial Analyst will assist development, investment and property management senior executives with new and existing projects in a Woodlands-based commercial / healthcare real estate development group.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Develop and maintain financial models for real estate investments and developments with complex capital structures

· Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management reports

· Prepare analyses to evaluate development, acquisition, refinancing, capital restructure and sell decisions

· Prepare annual valuations

· Analyze and provide feedback on annual budgets prepared by managers

· Assist with generating investment returns

· Assist with acquisition due diligence including lease review, market research and third party report review

· Assist with and help coordinate real estate transactions from onset to closing

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Minimum 2-4 years of relevant work experience

· A Bachelor’s in real estate, finance, accounting or similar degree required

· Strong analytical skills

· Knowledge of commercial real estate, different property types and markets

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Experience in ARGUS is highly preferred

· Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

· Ability to take initiative, be resourceful, and perform within a team environment

· Superb work ethic, attention to detail, sensitivity to confidential matters and commitment to excellence

· Occasional travel may be required
