Director of Acquisitions

Who We Are:

S2 Acquisitions is a privately-held real estate investment firm seeking value-add and opportunistic investments in the Northeast with a primary focus in and around NYC. Since inception in 2016, S2 has acquired a diverse portfolio including multi-family, medical office, & educational facilities. The team is nimble, creative and collaborative with extensive reach within the New York City real estate industry.

Position:

S2 is seeking a Director of Acquisitions to source opportunities using either a collaborative or self-created competitive advantage. A creative approach apart from traditional real estate norms is vital (to be further explained upon interview) including leveraging modern-day disrupters such as charter schools, co-living, social clubs and other various dislocations in the market.

Skills:

• BA/BS preferred but not required. 
• Minimum of 3 years of related real estate experience.
• Vast understanding of the NYC and borough markets.
• Ability to underwrite opportunities from a “back of the envelope” approach to complex excel models using Excel or Argus.
