Land Planner

WHA office in San Ramon, California has an opening for a Land Planner.

Under general direction of the principal, performs a variety of professional planning and entitlement activities including site plan feasibility studies, land plan & urban design function, researching municipal code, and planning graphic illustrations. Land Planner is an integral design team member working with inhouse architects and outside consultants to create and develop urban infill projects and master plan communities.

Desired skills and experiences:

• 2 to 5 years of work experience in planning / landscape architecture / urban design
• Knowledge of City ordinances and regulations
• Excellent people skills to work and collaborate with teams in and outside the office
• Organized, self-starter, focused
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office; Adobe InDesign and Photoshop; AutoCad; and basic Sketch-Up modeling

Education:

• BS in Urban & Regional Planning and/or Landscape Architecture with emphasis on urban design
