Job Description

GAIA Real Estate is a vertically integrated real estate investment firm based in New York City. Founded in 2009, GAIA has owned and operated 18k+ residential units and 600k SF of office space, totaling over $3.0 billion in activity since inception.  As a leading operator of residential assets in the New York metro area and throughout the United States, GAIA invests substantial partnership capital alongside its institutional investors.  

GAIA invests in residential real estate nationwide, though the firm is currently focused on opportunistic acquisitions in the New York metro area.

GAIA Real Estate is a lean and diverse firm that embraces an entrepreneurial spirit. The GAIA Summer Intern will report directly to our CEO. This intern will gain access to valuable professional skills, real work projects, and meaningful relationships with our team. We are looking for a candidate who has demonstrated experience completing complex analysis, diving into research, and experience with marketing ideas and concepts.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform research, data collection and analysis as requested
• Partner with internal teams to request information or support projects
• Work with the GAIA Partners and Israeli investors
• Complete special projects and assignments as needed

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Economics, Business, or related area
• Ability to speak Hebrew
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel analysis
• Marketing experience or coursework
• Strong time management, writing, presentation, and communication skills
• Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to balance multiple assignments

Please note that this position can be full- or part- time and will work on-site at our New York office. Hourly rate $15 - $20 per hour, depending on experience.
