JOB SUMMARY

Holder Properties is seeking an experienced professional to assist the company’s Investments & Asset Management team with business development efforts. The successful candidate will actively source marketed and off-market acquisition and development opportunities (primarily office) in the company’s target Sunbelt markets.

The ideal candidate for this position will be outgoing, diligent and dynamic and should be passionate about identifying and sourcing commercial real estate opportunities. Since this role will be based in Atlanta, it will require travel to the company’s target markets each month to source and pursue deals and network with key brokers and stakeholders. This individual will collaborate closely with the company’s investments team and senior management to evaluate and pursue deals consistent with the company’s investment strategy.

Holder Properties offers a competitive compensation package including base salary, discretionary bonus, paid-time-off, maternal/secondary partner leave, health benefits, as well as a 401K program with matching. Deal-level incentive compensation may also be available depending on performance.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Source acquisition and development opportunities in the company’s target markets, including on-market and off-market opportunities

• Conduct “on-the-ground” diligence to identify prospective opportunities, assist in gathering market data and become an expert in target market trends and dynamics

• Assist in the formulation of high-level business plans for new opportunities consistent with company strategies

• Assist in negotiation of terms for purchase of new opportunities

• Develop and manage relationships with key brokers, owners, end users and other stakeholders in the company’s target markets

• Coordinate and host broker and stakeholder entertainment and other events to promote the company and market acquisition strategy

• Participate as a thought leader in market opportunities and events

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & WORKING ENVIRONMENT

• 4-year bachelor’s degree required

• 3+ years commercial real estate experience preferred

• Exceptional interpersonal, communication and organizational skills

• Passion for meeting new people and managing strategic relationships

• Working knowledge of real estate underwriting principles

• Pre-existing relationships with key brokers and stakeholders in the company’s target markets preferred, but not required

• Availability to travel to target markets each month
