Marquee Asset Management LLC () is located in Los Angeles and is part of the Drewlo Family of Companies, based in London, Ontario, Canada.    Marquee is comprised of a dedicated, experienced, and growing team of apartment professionals based out of the Los Angeles, who benefit from the full support of the talented professionals at the Drewlo Family of Companies.  Marquee’s corporate culture parallels that of the Drewlo Family of Companies, which has been refined over six decades and derives from the knowledge gained in developing, owning, and managing its portfolio of over 10,000 apartments.

Duties/Responsibilities: 
- 
Strong analytical and underwriting skills with an emphasis on the creation of financial models to: 
- 
evaluate potential new acquisitions and investments opportunities; 
- 
perform hold/sell analyses for existing portfolio of commercial real estate assets; and, 
- 
Perform ad hoc financial modeling and analyses in support of firm executives, acquisitions, and asset management teams; 
- 
Conduct market research to validate investment assumptions and/or potential impacts to valuation, to include: 
- 
Compile and summarize market rent surveys; 
- 
Compile and summarize comparable sale surveys; 
- 
Understand local rules and regulations pertaining to the operation of target investments; 
- 
Efficiently and professionally interact with market participants and government representatives to obtain pertinent and timely market data/insight; and, 
- 
Develop and maintain knowledge of target real estate markets and submarkets; 
- 
Conduct due diligence on real estate assets to include title, debt, third party consultant report review, environmental, physical, zoning, etc; 
- 
Draft and prepare detailed, concise investment memoranda, marketing materials, research reports and administrative summaries for internal and external partner documentation purposes; 
- 
Assist with the preparation of multifamily financing applications; 
- 
Work with internal and third-party construction and property management teams to ensure timely, on-budget execution of renovation plans; 
- 
Performs ancillary duties as required; 
Qualifications:
- 
Preferred, but not required, 1-3 years prior experience working with a multiamily real estate developer, operator, institution, or brokerage firm; 
- 
Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on real estate valuation methodology including discounted cash flows, direct capitalization, sales comparison, and replacement cost analyses; 
- 
Ability to multi-task and track multiple assignments in various stages of the real estate life cycle; 
- 
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; 
- 
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Smart Sheet, Google Earth and/or ArcGIS. Argus Enterprise (AE) or Developer preferred, but not required; 
- 
Ability to travel locally and domestically; 
- 
Ability to sit in an office setting for at least 2 hours at a time; 
- 
Adherence to professional code of ethics and rules of conduct.
