Job Description

Ashcroft Capital is seeking a full-time Acquisitions Associate to focus on the rapid expansion of the company’s existing portfolio throughout the sunbelt.

Ashcroft Capital is a multifamily investment firm headquartered in New York, NY, focusing on the value-add space in stabilized assets. Responsibilities

1. Screen, assess, and underwrite multifamily investment opportunities in specific sunbelt markets and present to senior leaders
2. Tour new acquisition opportunities and competitive properties in various markets across the US
3. Mentor and train analysts while collaborating with other professionals at the company
4. Submit LOIs on potential acquisitions
5. Point of contact/coordinate due diligence and debt financing for acquisitions
6. Review PSAs, loan docs, and other transaction documents
7. Support the closing process
8. Develop and maintain relationships within specific markets
9. Create presentations and materials for investors

Requirements

1. 4-6 years of multifamily transactional experience in the sunbelt markets
2. Strong Leadership skills
3. Travel to specific markets
4. Self-motivated individual with a superior work ethic and an extremely high level of attention to detail
5. Ability to meet deadlines and accomplish work in order of priority
6. Highly proficient Excel skills with the ability to create own financial model
7. Ability to work with others across various professions
8. Local NYC hire preferred
