Remote position with salary range $100,000 - 130,000 plus bonus, healthcare benefits, PTO, 401K
Job Summary:
REGIONAL - REMOTE HOME OFFICE - LOCATION PREFERENCE IS NORTHEAST, MID-ATLANTIC, SOUTHEAST, OR MIDWEST REGIONS - ANTICIPATED TRAVEL IS 25-35%
The Proposal Development and Pricing Manager coordinates with Sales, Operations, and Senior management of multi-services proposals (Facilities Hard, Soft, and Dining Services) to create synergy for creative and winning proposals while implementing "best practices" for the division. This position’s primary responsibility is ownership of the overall pricing and costing process. Builds relationships throughout the company and a comprehensive understanding of the business and its operations. Also helps ensure key proposals are properly scoped - identifies risks and ensures text and response match requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drives costing & pricing, and participates in bidder's conferences, customer site surveys, etc. Debriefs proposal team on observations, information gathered, and pricing and costing. Makes recommendations on pricing strategies.
- Recommends and leads the management of proposal tool systems in collaboration with operations to ensure accurate services descriptions in alignment with operational practices and procedures; develops and maintains benchmarks.
- Assist with marketing needs as required including qualification submittals, presentations, and collaborate on writing new materials (past performance, corporate factsheets, brochures, project literature, and presentations)
- Helps develop presentation materials for both internal and external needs and ensure consistency and adherence to company's requirements especially where it comes to pricing and costing.
- Evaluates and informs key bid opportunities with senior management on pricing and costing, financial contract terms, and corporate support staff in order to assist the process of preparing and submitting successful proposals.
- Participates and lead strategy sessions on assigned proposals to develop pricing strategies and other strategic approaches to developing a winning proposal.
- Development of Comprehensive and Innovative FM Solutions and Pricing/Costing Strategies by overseeing the preparation of large-scale proposals utilizing company approved vendors and service providers to ensure accurate cost estimates on projects.
- Develops costs for labor, benefits, other direct costs, materials, and subcontracts once all the technical details evaluated and formulated into the various plans. Applies appropriate markups and customizes the pricing proforma and populates customer's pricing template. Performs detailed financial analysis to quantify cost savings or other customer benefits. Assists in financial benchmarking and leads in the development of customer baselines and financial bridge analysis.
- May perform on-site data collection at customer facilities required to perform solution design or detailed development tasks.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of pricing proposal management experience
- Advanced, innovative, and comprehensive skills in use of Excel modeling; comprehensive skills in use of PowerPoint and Word
- Contract and Support Services experience preferred
- Possess strong time management and prioritization skills; excellent attention to detail, and good judgment in decision-making.
