The partnership has transacted over $1bn in assets and has holdings throughout the Pacific Northwest, Los Angeles, and Salt Lake City markets. We believe in excellence in design and affordability without compromise.

About the Position

We are looking for a full-time real estate analyst to join our Los Angeles team and assist in all aspects of our hospitality investments and asset management process. You will be an integral part of our growing company and will have significant opportunity for direct mentorship in all facets of real estate. The ideal candidate has a strong finance acumen and is a builder of systems and processes.

This role is a hybrid position and will require travel as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Analyze and underwrite hospitality and multifamily investment opportunities across value-add, development, and core plus strategies.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models: joint venture cash flows with various promote and leverage structures, sensitivity analysis, and holding period analysis.
  • Review and analyze financial statements, operating expenses, budgets, tax bills, CapEx draw packages, and provide necessary reporting.
  • Conduct market research and evaluate hospitality performance metrics in target markets: economic data, comps, ADR growth, occupancy trends, operating expenses, taxes, development pipeline, and barriers to entry.
  • Assist with the acquisition process from due diligence to closing, including coordinating third party reports, closing checklists, internal/external accounting and finance teams.
  • Prepare investment presentations for principals and equity partners.
  • Complete annual and quarterly disposition return analysis including investor returns, investor proceeds, and waterfall/promote analysis.

Minimum Qualifications and Candidate Attributes

  • 2+ years of commercial real estate acquisitions experience, preferably in hospitality or multifamily sectors.
  • Bachelor’s degree with coursework in finance, real estate, or economics.
  • Excellent communication, analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Ability to create and operate complex Excel models: XIRR, preferred return scenarios, portfolios, equity waterfalls, pivot tables, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Intermediate knowledge of key investment metrics and joint venture structures.
  • Desire to work within a small, entrepreneurial, and self-sufficient team.

Compensation

  • Full-time, salaried position, $95,000-$105,000
  • Flexible PTO
  • Comprehensive health care, dental, and vision
  • 401(k), employer match program

As a reminder, we require both a resume and a thoughtful, personalized cover letter that conveys your qualifications, enthusiasm, and communication style.
