Company Overview: BroadVail Capital Partners is a commercial real estate private equity firm that manages a series of discretionary funds that provide growth capital to real estate operating companies across the U.S (all markets and sectors considered). This position provides a unique opportunity for the right candidate to intern for a growing private equity fund and learn under investment professionals with significant market experience.
Job Description: The Investments Intern will be an intellectually curious, self-motivated individual who has a deep interest in real estate investing. Reporting directly to the investment team, the candidate will gain exposure to the investment process - research, due diligence, underwriting, investment analysis, asset management, portfolio management and the exit process across a broad array of commercial real estate companies. Individuals must have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, quantitative and analytic skills, and the ability to work in teams.

Specific responsibilities of the position include:
- Conduct research and due diligence in collaboration with investment team
- Work through financial models, investment memorandums, & presentations to assist in investment evaluation & fund reporting
- Actively participate in the investment process
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizen (or Permanent Resident) is required
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Real Estate (or related field)
- Strong intellect and strategic thinker with solid quantitative, financial and analytical skills
- Strong writing skills & high attention to detail
- “Self-starter” with the ability to prioritize workflow and meet demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills
- Operate with the highest degree of integrity, motivation, and intellectual curiosity
- Ability to multi-task and execute a wide range of assignments; strong time management skills
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Desire to live in Houston during internship
