Job Summary
Drive the growth and expansion of CBRE's Advisory and Transaction Services ("A&T") account business by supporting teams through operational excellence, client care initiatives, and the CBRE Way, for clients in the assigned U.S. geography with an additional focus on the financial sector.
Scope and Responsibilities
You will directly and indirectly lead and manage a portfolio of A&T accounts and the teams delivering advisory and transaction management services to these accounts. This role involves partnering with Transaction Management Teams, Brokerage Teams, Advisory geographic leaders, Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) sector leaders and sales teams, alliance directors, and other senior-level managers to ensure the continued growth and expansion of A&T. This role will focus on supporting highest level of satisfaction of clients through world class delivery of occupier advisory and transaction management services. The successful individual will forge highly effective working relationships with clients, the sales and solutions team, accounts, transaction professionals, consulting and other advisory services experts to accomplish geographic and business line objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the "CBRE Way" of account management for assigned A&T accounts
- Lead or support (as applicable) operational excellence initiatives and leading practices including transitions, transformations, team performance reviews, account model restructuring, process improvement initiatives
- Be accountable for the financial and non-financial performance of the accounts
- Understand the business and real estate strategies of your account clients and bringing enterprise-wide resources to deliver proactive solutions which provide a consistent pipeline of growth opportunities
- Expand revenue opportunities on your existing accounts
- Expand client uptake and growth of consulting and advisory services
- Support the growth of new contractual transaction management revenue by developing new solutions and 100% of client renewals
- Elevate performance outcomes and value added on your existing accounts
- Ensure top talent on all accounts and that team members flawlessly execute against contract requirements
- Be an expert in the occupier business and work with your account teams to bring consistent, relevant, sector-specific insight and thought leadership to account clients
- Provide direct and active leadership to the community of occupier professionals who are managing accounts (as assigned to you)
- Serve as subject matter expert on transaction management service delivery and operational excellence
- Drive CBRE's Client Care standards including strategic business planning, performance assessment and quality assurance systems for occupier accounts
- Provide appropriate feedback loop on relevant issues
- Embrace innovation and change, continually evolving the platform and driving best practices
- Serve as a change agent for business improvements. Develop buy-in and support for new initiatives and processes
- Implement or direct the implementation of programs that meet corporate goals and objectives

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (Graduate degree or MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 8-10 years of significant experience
- Highly experienced and a subject matter expert ('master' level) in two or more of these major service lines: brokerage, transaction management, portfolio administration, project management, consulting and account management.
- Functional transaction management experience
- Demonstrated experience in managing an organization and teams with a mix of direct and matrix reports
- Demonstrated experience managing relationships with occupier services professionals and local market experts.
- Cross-functional work experience.
- Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service with demonstrated ability to create value
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills and professional appearance/demeanor
- Leadership capabilities, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. For the COE West Regional Director position the minimum salary is $190,000 annually and maximum salary is $230,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
