Job Description
Position Summary:
The Chief of Staff is the coordinator of the supporting staff and a primary aide to the CEO, providing strategic insight on acquisitions and asset management.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Empowered to take steps that will help CEO accomplish their agenda.
• A “force-multiplier” as accountable to the CEO by providing another lens into the organization.
• Work behind the scenes to solve problems, mediate disputes, and deal with issues before they are brought to the chief executive.
• Review and analyze financial reports.
• Provide strategic insight pertaining to acquisitions and asset management deals and future investments.
• Attend meetings and calls on the behalf of CEO if they cannot make it.
• Write first drafts of proposals, emails, letters etc. for the CEO.
• Prepares all meeting materials, (sometimes in partnerships with department leaders).
• Attend meetings, making sure that the action items from the meeting are executed.
• Serve as the communication arm for the CEO with other executives in the organization, clients, or major stakeholders.
• Act as the sounding board to the CEO for new ideas and initiatives.
• Act as the facilitator between a chief executive and that executive's direct-reporting team. This means being able to communicate wants, needs, concerns, ideas from employee to the CEO in and effective and efficient way.
Job Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in Real Estate or Finance, Masters preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience
• Superior communication skills, written and verbal.
• Work effectively in a cohesive team environment.
• Positive, proactive work ethic and approach.
• Very tech savvy.
• Well developed organizational skills.
• Flexibility and ability to multitask.
• Comfortable working in a fast paced environment and quickly accomplishing tasks at a high standard.
• Ability to organize & execute multiple projects.
• Proficient in all Microsoft office programs including Outlook
