About the Role:

As a CBRE Sales Assistant, you will assist with developing new business and with selling, leasing, and marketing of commercial real estate.

This job is part of the Sales function. This group is responsible for the design of the sales solution that will be presented and sold to potential new clients or at retender of existing clients. Management the bidding process from initial contact through to contract signing, preparation of bids with particular emphasis on establishing the organization's trading terms. Management of resources and team support to develop package and price custom solutions.

What You'll Do:

  • Work under the direct supervision of experienced sales professional or team of sales professionals in a training capacity.
  • Assist sales professionals in identifying potential clients. Cultivate new business opportunities for sales professionals through cold calling and networking.
  • Draft correspondence to existing and prospective clients. Gather, prepare and distribute marketing materials.
  • Compile property data for clients. This includes tenant surveys, summary reports, maps, status updates and presentations for listing or tenant representative assignments.
  • Gather and coordinate materials necessary for transactions. This includes listing agreements, commission agreements, leases, and sales agreements.
  • Maintain information on tenants, market availability, and leases in company databases. Provide efficient, reliable and courteous service to clients.
  • Assemble and review data to identify and solve complex problems that arise. Suggest improvements to existing processes and recommend new solutions and techniques to improve team productivity.


What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university. Real Estate Salesperson license preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and complex problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite products. This includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, OneNote, Outlook, etc.
  • Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages discounts and commissions.
  • Comprehensive understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems and concepts within own job function.
  • Ability to assess unusual and/or complex content in a concise and logical way. Present information in an efficient way.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Sales Assistant position is $100,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Sales Assistant position is $125,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
