Acquisitions Associate:
The Company is seeking an driven, positive and goal-oriented individual to join the team in the Company Del Mar office. Prospective candidates must be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic and excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.
The Acquisitions Associate will work independently and directly under the principals of the Company to source and acquire real estate loans and special situation real estate assets that fit within the Company’s investment criteria. The Associate will manage and grow a large network of real estate and private equity contacts, underwrite acquisition opportunities, and present select opportunities to principals for approval and funding.
Primary Responsibilities
• Cold call to create new & maintain existing relationships with bankers, investors, developers, and investment brokers.
• Develop and implement lead generation and business development strategies to promote Company and originate opportunities.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge and database of acquisition targets utilizing provided tools and ongoing active research.
• Read and interpret contracts, company decks, and investment memorandums.
• Write reports, business correspondence, and presentation packages.
• Present information to leadership team.
Minimum Job Requirements
• Must have sales or business development experience with a track record of hitting performance goals.
• Minimum one to three years commercial real estate or finance experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong worth ethic and a can-do attitude.
• Resourceful and solution oriented.
• Ability to work at a fast pace, multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word.
• In office most or full time

Compensation: $120k base + incentive structure.
