CBRE Design Collective is seeking a Senior Design Project Manager with experience in the following markets:
- Corporate (required)
- Hospitality (desired)
- Retail (desired)
- Aviation (desired)
- Identify the client's project goals, objectives and quality expectations, and communicate this information to the project team.
- Maintain communications and positive relationships with the client, consultants and team members.
- Collaborate with the Studio Lead and Marketing group to develop proposals, add services, schedules, and fees.
- Engage in all phases of the design, design documentation and construction process, from Programming through Contract Administration including the coordination of consultants.
- Manage all matters related to project initiation and implementation, development and execution, including financial performance, and preparation of consultant agreements.
- Plan, prioritize, and supervise the work of a multi-disciplined project staff including planning and updating staffing projections with the project team and studio lead.
- Assign team duties, responsibilities and scope of authority.
- Responsible for the success of a project including design quality, QA/QC, financial management, client satisfaction and team management.
- No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position, but this role does need to provide informal assistance such as technical mentorship and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate work and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.
- B.A. or B.F.A. in Interior Design from Council for Interior Design Accreditation curriculum OR Professional degree from a program accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB) or the Canadian Architectural Certification Board (CACB) 12+ years proven experience required.
- NCARB certification / Architectural license required.
- Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project and construction management tools such as Procore.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to clients.
- Ability to effectively present information.
- Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret sophisticated documents.
- Ability to tackle problems involving several options in situations.
- Requires sophisticated analytical and quantitative skills.
- Requires proficient knowledge of financial terms and principles.
- Ability to build fees and budgets, and manage teams based on the funds available.
- Decisions made with detailed understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve results and deadlines.
