Analyst Position

Montana Avenue Capital Partners, LLC (“MAC” or the "Company") is seeking a highly motivated individual seeking a dynamic work environment.  The ideal candidate would have 1-2 years of professional work experience in a real estate banking, brokerage, or private equity environment. Market compensation to be paid and MAC offers employees the opportunity to participate in the Company health insurance and 401k plans.

Position Summary

The role includes acquisition as well as asset management responsibilities.  Job duties with respect to new acquisitions include, but are not limited to, financial modeling, preparation of investment overviews, due diligence, and managing closing processes.  Job responsibilities on existing investments include, but are not limited to, market analysis, managing construction budgets and loan draws, leasing, preparation of reports for capital partners, monthly running model updates/reforecasting, and other “general” asset management duties.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in underwriting and closing of new acquisitions
• Assist in the design and management of building renovations
• Assist in the leasing of existing and new projects
• Review and analyze operating performance of existing projects
• Prepare quarterly and annual reports and assist in budget review processes for each owned asset
• Assemble and review economic, demographic and other market information for each asset area, as needed, including market lease and sales comparables
• Monitor performance of competitive properties

Skills & Competencies

• BS/BA required
• Minimum 1 year of work experience (Real Estate, Finance, or Accounting)
• Significant experience with Excel / financial modeling
• Knowledge of Argus a plus
• Strong attention to detail
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Ability to work independently and as a team member
