BayBridge Real Estate Capital is a New York City-based capital markets advisory firm that specializes in structured commercial real estate transactions nationwide. We are active across every asset class and have a diverse transaction profile that includes the placement of construction financing, land financing, bridge financing, permanent financing, mezzanine debt, preferred equity, and joint venture equity. Our average transaction size range is $40-200 million. BayBridge Real Estate Capital is the real estate finance division within a larger financial services company that has been in business for over 40-years.
 
 
The candidate that we are looking for is someone with a strong entrepreneurial personality, is looking to make an impact on the team, and be a part of a quickly growing player in the commercial real estate finance industry. Your primary focus will be to generate new opportunities for the firm by conducting outreach, developing relationships, and assisting in the negotiation and closing of transactions for our clients. The job function is a hybrid between sales and finance with a singular focus on commercial real estate. This role requires a strong understanding of the real estate market, excellent communication and sales skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
 
 

 Key Responsibilities:
 

  1. Client Relationship Management:
     
    • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their specific capital markets requirements.
  2.  
    • Provide regular updates to clients on market trends, capitalization strategies, and potential investment opportunities.
  3.  
  4. Business Development
     
    • Conduct client outreach and persistently follow up with clients to generate new financing opportunities.
  5.  
    • Frequently travel to meet clients and make presentations.
  6.  
  7. Deal Execution Negotiation and Promotion:
     
    • Assist the deal execution team in creating offering memorandums, data rooms, and marketing the deals to the capital providers.
  8.  
    • Play a key role in negotiating and structuring the transactions for the clients.
  9.  
  10. Networking:
     
    • Attend industry events, networking functions, and conferences to build relationships with key stakeholders in the real estate community.
  11.  
  12. Administrative Tasks:
     
    • Manage administrative tasks related to transactions, including paperwork, documentation, and record-keeping.

 Qualifications:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in real estate, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Meticulous and organized.
