Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW
- Develop and implement asset-level business plans including leasing strategies and capital improvements
- Conduct regular property inspections to monitor project progress and evaluate property conditions
- Prepare and review monthly and quarterly asset-level financial statements, budgets, and performance reports
- Create loan draw requests and other materials for complying with financing requirements
- Collaborate with brokers to develop and implement leasing strategies, review lease terms, and negotiate new and renewal leases
- Work closely with property managers to ensure efficient day-to-day operations and resolve tenant issues
- Oversee general contractors, architects, civil engineers, and other consultants to ensure timely completion and budget adherence of projects
- Manage weekly construction calls and generate brief summary reports for internal team
- Review contractor and other service pay applications and compile weekly invoice trackers for CFO
- Support dispositions process by preparing due diligence and other asset level information
- Maintain relationships with brokers, tenants, and industry professionals to gather market intelligence and identify new opportunities
- 2-5+ years of experience in real estate asset management or construction management, preferably in the industrial sector
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
- Strong understanding of industrial real estate markets, including warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, and logistics properties
- Motivated and detail oriented self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and assets simultaneously
- Ability to articulate complex topics in a clear and concise manner to a broad cross section of people
- Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and organizational skills
