R4 Capital is seeking to hire two Financial Analysts (one each in our Boston and New York offices) to join the Credit Underwriting group to accommodate an expanding transaction pipeline. The financial analyst will be broadly responsible for the financial analysis and closing of both debt and equity Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) executions. Primary responsibilities will include:

§  Preliminary financial analysis and modeling of multifamily real estate transactions for both debt and equity executions

§  Assist the transaction’s assigned Underwriter with engaging applicable third‐party reports and facilitating delivery of due diligence required for each report

§  Collect and review due diligence materials related to underwriting packages, provide feedback to internal stakeholders and project developers as appropriate

§  Assist Associates and Underwriters with producing credit analysis reports presented to both internal Investment Committee and external Investors

§  Work in a team environment that will require effective coordination and communication internally, as well with developer clients and third‐party report providers

The desired candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in economics, finance, accounting or real estate, with strong analytical / Excel, verbal communication and writing skills. Finance or real estate finance educational background and/or relevant work experience in a real estate finance position preferred.

R4 considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, qualifications, and experience. The minimum salary for the full-time Financial Analyst position is $70,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $90,000 annually. In addition, all full-time employees are eligible for a discretionary bonus and to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, and 401K matching, in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
