Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Analyst to join our Investments Team. This individual will play a key role in underwriting and executing new senior housing acquisitions as well as supporting the ongoing management of new / existing assets. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Investments, the Analyst will work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and gain exposure to the full lifecycle of senior housing investments. The candidate can be located in Chicago or Denver (company is based in Winter Park, FL).
 
 Primary Responsibilities 
  • Underwrite new investment opportunities using detailed financial models in Excel
  • Provide analytical support for various capital events including dispositions, refinancings, renovations, etc.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to evaluate investment viability
  • Assist in the preparation of investment memos and materials for internal and external stakeholders
  • Support the due diligence and closing process, including coordination with legal, operating partners, and third-party consultants
  • Track industry trends and maintain competitive intelligence on various markets 
  • Monitor asset performance post-acquisition by analyzing monthly financials and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Assist in preparing quarterly investor reports, internal dashboards, and variance ad hoc analyses
 
Requirements 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in real estate investment, investment banking, consulting, accounting, or a similar analytical role (experience in senior housing preferred)
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling, including discounted cash flow (DCF), IRR, waterfalls, and other analysis
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic, ability to multitask, and thrive in a collaborative environment
  • Willingness to travel as required 
 
Salary / Benefits
  • Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 (based on qualifications and experience) in addition to a discretionary bonus
