Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key member of the executive team, contributing to the overall company vision, strategy, and culture.
- Continue to build and scale operations by diagnosing opportunities and implementing systems, policies, and processes that support company growth.
- Lead and mentor regional and site-level teams to create a resident-focused high-performance, accountable culture.
- Recruit, develop, and retain top operational talent.
- Lead training initiatives to promote professional development and elevate property-level performance.
- Build a positive and accountable team culture grounded in shared values and high standards.
- Oversee day-to-day operations across the portfolio, ensuring properties are meeting financial, occupancy, and resident satisfaction targets.
- Identify underperforming assets and implement turnaround strategies.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and risk management protocols are maintained.
- Develop and implement company-wide policies, playbooks, and operational protocols.
- Regularly assess current workflows and recommend improvements for efficiency and performance.
- Drive operational consistency through the development of scalable, standardized procedures.
- Assess, select, and implement property management and operational technology platforms.
- Leverage data and reporting tools to enhance visibility and decision-making.
- Assess, suggest, and champion artificial intelligence capabilities, automation and modern tools to streamline back-office and onsite workflows.
- Own the P&L across the managed portfolio, ensuring top-line revenue growth and cost discipline.
- Collaborate with asset management and finance teams on budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning.
- Use data-driven insights to influence and drive proactive decision-making at the community level.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or related graduate degree preferred.
- 10+ years in multifamily property management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Deep experience managing diverse portfolios of multifamily assets.
- Strong track record in leading operational turnarounds, creating scalable systems, and building teams.
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Highly self-motivated and adaptable; thrives in ambiguity and fast-changing environments.
- Proficiency in property management software (Yardi Voyager) and operational dashboards.
- Thoughtfulness and willingness to understand and leverage AI
