Job Description
- Prepare periodic investor materials and reports to equity investors and lenders
- Track ongoing property-level activity, and report on investment performance, financial variances, and significant changes in market and property conditions
- Assist Asset Managers with preparing annual operating and capital budgets
- Perform financial modeling and analysis related to overseeing assets and preparing hold/sell analyses.
- Analyze and monitor capital improvements and renovation programs, and coordinate with lenders and capital partners on funding requests and progress reporting
- Interface with Asset Managers, Accounting, and Acquisitions to facilitate cash flow management of investments to optimize investor yield within the confines of highly structured tax designed transactions, while providing strategic oversight and performance optimization of the portfolio assets.
- Communicate with third-party service providers including property managers, loan servicers, appraisers, insurers, tax consultants, and various vendors
- Support asset management-related due diligence during the underwriting process with regards to Loan, Joint Venture and Property Management Agreements, and assist in the coordination of post-acquisition activities and integration of assets into the firm’s portfolio
- Assist with obtaining institutional investor/lender approvals
- Maintain key dates and milestones as set forth in leases and loan documents
- Research value-add strategies and ideas, assist in facilitating approved initiatives, and conduct ad-hoc analyses as required
- Maintain asset management technology platform and measure property and investment performance on a regular basis
- Effective communication and writing skills

- Proficient with Microsoft Office software, particularly modeling in Microsoft Excel, as well as with Argus
