Position Summary
The Senior Associate - Quantitative Analytics & Reporting is a key member of our consulting team, working in collaboration with the firm’s managing partners and research team to provide superior advisory services and quantitative analysis to clients. The individual is primarily responsible for supporting data-informed analysis, aggregating data in an established and systematic process, preparing data for analytic efforts, and interpreting data analyses. Responsibilities include operating and enhancing econometric models, developing statistical modeling techniques, and automating business and reporting solutions.
Essential Responsibilities
The successful individual will prepare, scrub and transform data from government and third-party sources, operate and enhance econometric models, develop statistical modeling techniques, and upgrade internal data systems. Within a SAS environment, responsibilities will include quarterly reporting and ad hoc data reporting. The successful team member will leverage and enhance legacy data systems with new technologies and automation procedures.
Key Responsibilities
· Ad hoc and scheduled modeling procedures, primarily utilizing SAS (Base, Enterprise Guide)
· Manage quarterly forecasting procedures
· Aggregate and transform economic, demographic, financial and real estate data
· Develop and audit internal data systems
· Create ad hoc reports and data solutions
· Enhance data visualization and reports
· Automate business processes and reporting solutions
· Practice self-development and promote learning and understanding of analytical methodologies by others
· Provide guidance and procedures for data best practices
· Identify and interpret trends or patterns in complex datasets
Qualifications
· SAS (Base, Enterprise Guide) experience required
· Knowledge of R, Python and Access desirable
· Experience with administration of data warehouses
· Understanding of economic principles and econometric techniques
· Knowledge of real estate fundamentals desired
· Ability to work in teams and independently
· Superior time management skills
