As we enter a new stage of growth, we’re looking for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) who can help take our infrastructure, talent, and deal execution to the next level.

What You’ll Do: 

 
 
You’ll be the operational backbone of KSR, working hand-in-hand with brokers and leadership to scale what’s working — and fix what’s not. 

 
  • Own the day-to-day operations of the firm and ensure every part of the machine is firing smoothly
  • Create and implement clear growth strategies to increase revenue, productivity, and operational efficiency
  • Join brokers at pitch meetings to advocate for listings and support their business development efforts
  • Recruit top-tier talent and make tough calls when needed to optimize team performance
  • Modernize how we operate — from marketing to landlord updates — by researching and implementing tools like CRMs, AI platforms, and more
  • Lead strategic planning sessions with individuals and teams to set goals, define KPIs, and build accountability
  • Manage internal workflows, systems, and budget tracking
  • Maintain high-level oversight of compliance, performance, and firm-wide initiatives
  • Be a trusted partner to the CEO and an accessible leader for the full team


 

 

 

 

 
Who You Are:
 

 

 
You’re not just an operator — you’re a builder. You thrive in high-energy environments, know real estate inside and out, and can turn a messy process into a repeatable system. You understand that speed matters — but precision and alignment matter more.
 

 
  • 7+ years in operations or executive leadership, preferably in a high-growth real estate firm
  • Deep understanding of commercial real estate: leasing, sales, landlord relationships, and deal lifecycles
  • Exceptional team leader who knows how to motivate and hold people accountable
  • Systems thinker who gets excited by CRMs, automation tools, and data-driven decision making
  • Strong presence, excellent communicator, and cool under pressure
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or similar a plus
  • Must be based in NYC and available to work in person at our Midtown office (1385 Broadway)
