Job Overview & Responsibilities
§ Develop detailed financial pro forma for prospective commercial real estate transactions, incorporating market analysis, income and expense underwriting, development budgeting, discounted cash flow modeling, capital structure analysis, and sources and uses schedules.
§ Input and maintain property financials and tenant information in Excel and Argus models to support underwriting and valuation processes for review by the Executive Team and investment partners.
§ Prepare investment memos and presentation materials related to acquisitions for internal and external stakeholders.
§ Maintain the acquisition pipeline documents, monitoring opportunities in the market and actively communicating with internal and external sources to update status.
§ Diligent follow-up with investment team on prospective opportunities.
§ Gather and track market sales data; maintain a database of sale comparables.
§ Maintain and enhance acquisition models and analytical tools to support data-driven investment decisions.
§ Ability to understand evolving technologies (AI, ARGUS, Excel, among other platforms and technologies) to improve current workflow, efficiency, and productivity across the acquisition spectrum.
§ Collaborate closely with the Asset & Property Management Teams to ensure smooth transitions and alignment with long-term portfolio strategy.
§ Participate in internal meetings related to operations, development, and leasing to stay aligned with asset-level strategies.
§ Support the Executive Team on transaction-related initiatives, including dispositions, major lease analyses, and recapitalizations.
§ Collaborate with the executive team on portfolio valuation efforts, financing analyses, and other ad hoc strategic projects.
§ Be active and engaged in the broader CRE market by following local news and participating in CRE organizations like NAIOP, REFA, SIOR etc.
§ Foster relationships with key brokers, investors, stakeholders, owners, and lenders to support and contribute to RJK’s success and growth.
Qualifications & Experience
Technical Qualifications
§ 2 years MINIMUM of relevant experience in commercial real estate, with a focus on acquisitions, asset management, or investment analysis.
§ Experience with industrial, flex, office, and self-storage strongly preferred. Multi-family experience is a plus.
§ Previous experience with a CRE owner/operator or institutional private equity real estate firm strongly preferred.
§ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Argus is required.
§ Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, real estate, or a related discipline.
§ Solid understanding of financial modeling, valuation, and core accounting principles.

This is a full-time, on-site role with the flexibility to work remotely upon demonstrating a high level of accountability and performance.
