Opportunity and Position Summary:
The Asset Management Operations Coordinator plays a vital role within the Core and Value-Advisors "CVA" Asset Management Team, providing comprehensive support across a range of functions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, lease administration, property valuations, sustainability initiatives, budgeting, and general reporting. This position is instrumental in optimizing workflow efficiency, allowing the team to consistently deliver exceptional results. This role reports to SVP, Asset Management Regional Office Head and requires four days in the office (M-Th) with hybrid Fridays. 
 
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lease Administration: Lead the lease administration function for the asset management team, driving efficiency and accuracy in recording commercial lease transactions. Manage the end-to-end lease abstraction process, ensuring timely completion and data integrity within specified timeframes.
  • Budgeting: Spearhead the annual CVA budgeting process, collaborating with portfolio managers to establish deadlines, creating and disseminating budget guidelines and templates to third-party property managers, meticulously tracking outstanding budgets, and maintaining the accuracy and accessibility of all budgetary data throughout the calendar year.
  • Valuations: Support quarterly valuations by gathering key financial reports, updated lease data, recent valuation materials, and the latest capital plan for each asset.
  • Acquisitions: Attend pre-closing kickoff meeting for all new acquisitions and work alongside the accounting team to facilitate the seamless onboarding of new investments. 
  • Sustainability: Lead ESG-focused asset management initiatives that support key client reporting requirements and drive sustainability goals.
  • Reporting: Work alongside asset management and research team members to produce the CVA biannual asset management report, participating in special projects and reporting requests. 
 
Skills and Competencies:
  • All candidates must have a BA or BS degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of administrative or operations support experience – ideally within commercial real estate industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to assess qualitative and quantitative characteristics of properties and/or investments.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with third-party partners.
  • Strong sense of accountability, responsiveness, and follow-through.
  • Team oriented, with consistent drive to maximize value-add to team.
  • Consistent attention to details.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Highly adaptable, with flexibility on depth and breadth of role and responsibilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation:
Competitive. Stockbridge’s base pay scale depends on geographic location, business line, years of experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. A discretionary annual bonus is also included in addition to base pay. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and STD & LTD insurance.
