Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Oversight: Ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of the capital uses of the assets.

Position Responsibilities:
- Update financial models with actual data to manage, track and evaluate business plan progression. Assist with monitoring and analyzing investment risks and financial health of the assets.
- Prepare quarterly and year-end reporting, including cash flow updates, executive summaries, fund and asset level dashboards, and portfolio summaries for communication with investors and investment team.
- Lead business plan presentations to internal and external executive teams for assets under management while providing clear and concise communication of key updates, areas of concern, risk prevention strategies, and forward planning initiatives.
- Diligently track investment activity to update team on upcoming acquisitions and dispositions, portfolio construction, and investment pace.
- Expand and support investor relations by creating and providing marketing materials utilizing financial data and portfolio track records.
- Assist operations and legal teams with contract tracking against development budgets.
- Support due diligence efforts for securing debt instruments to fund asset acquisition or development efforts and oversee debt compliance and tracking for secured vehicles.
- Actively participate in quarterly development budget reviews with EVPs of operations and operation team members to support quarterly planning procedures.
- Fully immerse, integrate, and grow relationships with colleagues in various departments to foster wholesome understanding of asset progression, areas of concern, and opportunities for advancement to ensure ability to provide comprehensive asset management oversight.
- Assist with ongoing financial modeling needs for the operations and executive team, acting as a subject matter expert for financial and excel modeling and tools.
- Continuously evaluate and improve models and tools, building additional excel-based models and tools to drive future portfolio management efficiencies.
- Providing analytical support on key corporate projects and initiatives, for example debt refinancing and equity investment initiatives, producing tools to analyze specific business opportunities for unique, special projects as assigned.
- Manage portfolio compliance to investor guidelines. Preparing regular and ad-hoc analytics and data requests. Anticipate cross-functional portfolio team needs and prompt response to inquiries.
- Maintain a curious disposition, an opportunistic mindset, and a confidence to think outside of the box and pitch new ideas while being a part of a passionate group of experienced professionals.
Essential Skills, Experience, and Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, mathematics or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3 - 6 years investment, acquisition and/or asset management experience.
- 1 - 3 years experience in real estate development or private equities is preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills (SUMPRODUCT, VLOOKUP, etc.) and dynamic modeling.
- Proficiency in MS-Outlook, including PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data and communicate insights clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to think critically to make informed decisions and recommendations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to collaborate successfully with all levels of internal and external parties.
- Proactive individual, possess a strong work ethic, deadline orientated, and team player.
- Ability to work under pressure with high performance and professional aptitude.
- The ability to work effectively as part of an investment and asset management operations team, demonstrate flexibility, and cross-collaborate with all facets of the business.
