US Property Trust is seeking a highly motivated Commercial Real Estate - Leasing Manager to join our team. This individual will play a key role in all aspects of leasing services, with a strong emphasis on maximizing the performance of our retail real estate portfolio.

The ideal candidate is an outgoing, results-driven professional with a proven track record in retail leasing. They should possess strong organizational skills and have established relationships with national tenants. Compensation: $85,000-$130,000/year + performance bonus

Responsibilities:

  • Develop follow-up materials for prospective tenants (e.g., lease comparisons, market overviews, market presentations, coordinate information with other departments and brokers)
  • Create, administer, and update a strategic leasing plan for each property within the portfolio
  • Maintain regular contact with tenants and monitor lease expirations
  • Develop and grow relationships with national, regional and local tenants, as well as tenant brokers, business, civic groups and individuals
  • Research competitive market information and maintain understanding of market dynamics
  • Maintain and update various lease reporting summaries on weekly basis
  • Have general knowledge of the local laws governing landlord/tenant relationships
  • Prepare basic to intermediate financial analysis showing multiple leasing scenarios
  • Conduct and oversee lease marketing campaigns
Qualifications:

  • 2-5+ years’ experience in commercial real estate, retail, or office leasing with verifiable deals and completed transactions.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Broker's License is a plus.
  • Communicate tactfully, skillfully, and persuasively to negotiate long-term permanent leases with local, regional and national retailers
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word software is required
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team to build relationships and interact effectively and in cooperation with team
  • Ability to multi-task, work successfully under pressure and effectively manage time and workload
  • Intermediate understanding of commercial real estate fundamentals
