As we prepare for an upcoming capital raise, we are seeking a motivated and skilled Investor Relations Associate to join our team.
**Position Overview:**
As an Investor Relations Associate, you will work closely with the firm’s founder to serve as a vital liaison between Glenmont and its existing and prospective investors. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to deepen their expertise in investor relations while playing a crucial role in our fundraising efforts
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing limited partners (LPs) while effectively managing reporting and communications
- Assist in all aspects of the fundraising process, including creating and maintaining a comprehensive database of potential investors
- Develop marketing materials such as pitchbooks and investor update letters, ensuring high-quality content
- Administer the Appfolio investor portal, providing support to ensure all investors can access necessary information
- Conduct market research to identify prospective investors and develop outreach strategies
- Coordinate investor operations and manage investment due diligence meetings, and responding to Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) and Request for Proposals (RFPs)

- Financial fluency to discuss metrics confidently using investor-friendly language.

- Capable of transforming complex investment strategies into compelling narratives
- Strong writing skills to create clear and high-quality investor materials
- Ability to convey both good and bad news with transparency and credibility
3. Relationship Management Focus
- Actively prioritize the unique preferences and concerns of each LP and maintain regular, responsive communication
- Skillful in navigating difficult conversations with diplomacy
4. Strategic Thinking and Capital Formation Skills
- Knowledgeable in engaging prospective LPs and managing the fundraising process effectively
- Awareness of investor trends and competitive positioning in the market
5. Operational and Analytical Support
- Maintain the firm’s investor database and provide support for performance analysis and benchmarking
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or business administration.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in investor relations or fundraising roles.
- Familiarity with private equity investment.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint for creating investor materials and databases.
- Strong writing and presentation skills with experience interacting with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, RIAs, and other institutional LPs.
