The company has successfully acquired, financed, and operated twenty-seven communities in Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia. We currently own 2,800 units in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

We are growing our portfolio of investments and would like to expand our team to aid in those initiatives. Below is a description of the position, required experience, and enhancing characteristics for qualified candidates:

Position: Multifamily Asset Management Associate

Location: 4401 N. Fairfax Drive, Suite 340, Arlington, VA 22203 (DC Metro Area)

Walking distance to Orange/Silver line Ballston Station

Areas of Responsibility:

Lead asset management efforts across a select portfolio of Linden communities.
Stabilize newly acquired communities by creating and executing property-level business plans in conjunction with Linden’s Construction Management team.
Manage working relationships with property managers, Linden’s internal construction management team, lenders, and joint venture partners to meet or exceed operational goals.
Analyze financial performance across the portfolio, with the goal of producing creative ideas for improving financial results and customer satisfaction.
Produce quarterly reports on asset performance for Linden’s investors and partners.
Manage loan compliance and administration for the portfolio.
Assist in the analysis of new acquisition opportunities and the disposition of existing assets.

Requirements:

2+ years’ experience in real estate or related field.
Desire to be a part of an entrepreneurial, fast-growing team.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Deep understanding of financial analysis, construction, property underwriting, and/or debt & equity capital markets.
Enthusiasm for helping the company discover and implement best practices in the areas of operations, finance, and business plan execution.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple teams, tasks, and deadlines.
Demonstration of excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be well-composed and articulate; can represent the company well in the financial, operating, and contracting communities.

Travel/Office Attendance:

Depending on asset needs and location, travel is estimated to be around 15-25% of the work schedule per month.
In office attendance is expected unless traveling for business purposes.
