Job Description
We are currently hiring a multifamily analyst to join our team. Qualified candidates will have the analytical skills to support acquisitions, asset management and property management in their respective endeavors.
Primary responsibilities include as follows:
• Acquisitions: Underwrite potential acquisition and development opportunities to include cash flow modeling, property valuations, investment analyses, market research and joint venture structuring to gain an intimate knowledge of select opportunities. Prepare accurate and thorough work product to assist in the investment review process. Assist in the preparation of deal memorandum for investment committee review and dissemination to potential investors.
• Asset / Property Management: Support asset management, property management, and accounting functions as required. Conduct analyses to support decision making related to the business plan of the investment (leasing, capital projects, financing). Track the redevelopment performance of each asset and assist in the preparation of construction draws for submission to lenders.
• Due Diligence: Support transaction due diligence and closing processes for acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and re-capitalizations. Respond to requests from the investment committee, joint venture partners, brokers, lenders, appraisers, buyers, and sellers. Review all due diligence materials and present findings to senior management.
• Market Research: To support new investment opportunities and the existing portfolio, perform thorough research of select markets utilizing various databases and maintain proprietary market reports including property sales and lease comparables.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Real Estate with strong academic performance
• Minimum of one year of applicable, full-time experience
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Argus Enterprise.
• Demonstrated ability in interpersonal and business communications; excellent writing skills required
