Role and Responsibilities
The Real Estate Analyst/Associate will support the oversight and performance management of our real estate portfolio, with a substantial focus on multifamily and hospitality assets. This role will focus on portfolio-level analysis and reporting, assisting in the execution of business plans, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive value creation. The position offers significant exposure to institutional real estate investment, operations, and capital markets. For new investments, the Real Estate Analyst/Associate will assist with due diligence, financial modeling, industry research, and drafting investment committee reports. In addition, the Analyst will support the firm’s business development efforts on an as-needed basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting monthly and quarterly financial and operational reviews of assigned assets.
- Preparing quarterly reporting packages for investors, partners, and internal leadership.
- Supporting budget review, variance analysis, and reforecasting processes.
- Building and maintaining financial models.
- Monitoring capital improvement and redevelopment projects, ensuring timely execution and reporting.
- Maintaining asset performance dashboards and key performance indicator tracking.
- Coordinating with property management and asset management to ensure the execution of strategic business plans.
- Quantitative and qualitative underwriting of new investments.
- Contributing to portfolio presentations and internal strategy discussions.
- Presenting information to the Investment Management team and senior leadership.
- Synthesize deliverables on current investment performance, industry news, and trends.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
· Experience: 1–3 years in real estate finance, investment analysis, or asset/property management preferred.
· Strong understanding of real estate financial concepts, including NOI, IRR, and asset valuation.
· Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; familiarity with other real estate programs and Tableau.
· Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
