We are a privately owned real estate portfolio in Toronto Canada, including retail commercial plazas and residential properties. We are seeking an Asset Manager to provide strategic oversight, facilitate operations, and deliver transparent reporting across the portfolio.

Role Overview
As Asset Manager – Private Real Estate, you will act as a strategic partner to ownership, ensuring assets operate efficiently and meet long-term financial and operational objectives. This role combines financial oversight, operational management, hands-on property engagement, and construction/project management responsibilities, including renovations and capital improvement initiatives. While the role offers hybrid working flexibility, on-site property visits are required to oversee operations, tenant relations, and site conditions.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee portfolio operations, including leasing, tenant relations, and occupancy management
- Manage residential property operations, including landscaping, trades, maintenance, and tenant requests
- Analyze financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, rent rolls, and operating expenses
- Manage construction and capital improvement projects, including vendor coordination, timelines, and budgets
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to improve net operating income and overall asset performance
- Prepare performance summaries and strategic recommendations for ownership
- Conduct on-site property visits as required to monitor operations, tenant satisfaction, and site conditions
- Perform other duties as assigned to support portfolio objectives
