Asset Manager

The Asset Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a diversified real estate portfolio with approximately $400+ million in assets under management (AUM). This role requires a strong understanding of financial performance, operational execution, and strategic asset-level decision-making within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1.  Oversee the day-to-day performance and operations across the portfolio, ensuring alignment with investment objectives 
  2.  Conduct detailed variance analysis to evaluate budget vs. actual performance and identify key drivers 
  3.  Develop and manage annual budgets and reforecasts for all assets within the portfolio 
  4.  Prepare and distribute monthly and quarterly investment updates to internal stakeholders and investors 
  5.  Manage and execute all equity distributions and capital calls, ensuring accuracy and timeliness 
  6.  Analyze and interpret complex business plans, lease structures, and operating agreements across multiple asset types 
  7.  Manage relationships with general contractors (GCs) and lead negotiations for construction and renovation bids 
  8.  Collaborate closely with institutional lenders on reporting requirements, financial analysis, and compliance 
  9.  Work closely with property management, leasing teams, and third-party vendors to drive operational efficiency and value creation 
  10.  Support strategic initiatives including refinancing, dispositions, and asset repositioning efforts 

Additional Expectations:

  1.  All projects and major initiatives will be reviewed by the CEO and President of Kassin Sabbagh Realty, requiring a high level of attention to detail and accountability 
  2.  Ability to operate effectively in a complex and fast-paced work environment

Qualifications:

  1. 3–5 years of experience in real estate asset management, acquisitions, or a related field 
  2.  Strong financial modeling and analytical skills 
  3.  Deep understanding of real estate operations and investment performance metrics 
  4.  Experience managing multiple assets across different property types 
  5.  Proven ability to negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships 
  6.  Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills 
  7.  Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights
