Position Summary
The VP of Investments will play a key leadership role within TriBridge Residential, responsible for overseeing the execution of business plans and capital strategies across the existing portfolio while also supporting the development and acquisitions teams on new investments. This individual will report to the Chief Investment Officer and will actively participate in all portfolio priorities including transaction execution, structuring equity and debt, optimizing portfolio performance, and driving long-term value creation.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio & Investment Management
- Lead business plan execution and capital strategy across the existing investment portfolio, maintaining direct communication with internal partners, lenders, and equity investors.
- Evaluate asset performance, monitor investment returns, and identify opportunities to enhance value.
- Collaborate with third-party and in-house property management and capital projects teams to execute a range of business plans effectively. Specialized initiatives may include commercial repositioning, condo conversions, furnished rental programs, and major value-add projects.
- Contribute to semi-annual investor reporting in coordination with the investor relations and property management teams.
- Support property disposition strategy and execution.
- Serve as a senior point of contact for investors, lenders, brokers, and other external stakeholders.
Capital Strategy & Structuring
- Oversee loan refinancings from strategy development through financial modeling, lender coordination, and closing.
- Prepare investment memorandums and presentations for internal approval and external capital partners.
- Lead equity recapitalizations, coordinating financial projections and working closely with accounting and investor relations teams.
- Acquisitions & Development Support.
- Partner with the acquisitions and development teams to review underwriting, investment business plans, and capital partner pitch materials for new opportunities.
- Oversee due diligence processes for new acquisitions to ensure business plan alignment and readiness for transition in collaboration with analysts and the property management group.
- Manage transaction closing logistics where necessary.
Desired Qualifications
- 3-7 years of experience in multifamily real estate investment, development, or capital markets.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills with the ability to distill complex concepts into clear, actionable insights.
- Strong collaboration skills; thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment under tight deadlines.
- Exceptional financial modeling and quantitative analysis skills.
- Advanced understanding of financial accounting and investment performance metrics.
- Deep knowledge of financial markets, capital structures, and investment instruments.
- B/A in Finance.
