Job Description
The purpose of this position is to oversee the facility maintenance management and safety programs for a portfolio of large retail stores and manage performance metrics in accordance with account KPI's (Key Performance Indicators). Must have strong focus on customer service and ownership mentality to take full responsibility of all relationships with store management and manage all maintenance and repair activities within assigned stores.
Manages planned, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities, ensuring work is completed in accordance with account KPI's (Key Performance Indicators).
Manages to established performance metrics in the area of work order compliance, such as response time, completion time, overall completion percentage, etc. in accordance with account and/or internal metrics.
Documents in the maintenance work order system and reports to client as appropriate to agreed upon reporting requirements.
Provides formal supervision to group of mobile technicians with full responsibility of all self performance in assigned stores. Recommends staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.
High School diploma or GED (General Education Degree) required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Min of 4 years Engineering and/or Maintenance Management related experience/training. Formal FM Qualification preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues.
Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts financial analysis.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires analytical and quantitative skills.
Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to department.
