POSITION SUMMARY:
Assists with strategic oversight and execution of the COPT brand experience, including tenant, prospect, and broker experience initiatives. Support Asset Management/ Leasing Team by creating experiences, programs, and processes which enhance tenant attraction and retention. Works directly with Marketing + Brand Strategy Team to create comprehensive experience programs consistent with brand vision of portfolio or asset. Support marketing team with broker database and event planning and execution.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field for marketing, public relations or communications.
Further Training: N/A
Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in event planning and coordination. Commercial real estate experience a plus. Other applicable industries include brokerage firms, hospitality, and residential communities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Tenant Programming:
- Defines event strategies and tactics to achieve objectives.
- Curate, direct research, make recommendations, and execute tenant events including but not limited to: fitness classes, food truck booking and coordination, social events such as wine tastings and sushi making classes, educational opportunities, etc.
- Coordinate all logistics from attendee registration, transportation, accommodations, meals, and technology.
- Expand and manage vendor network.
- Negotiate contracts and other event services.
- Manage annual EM budget and ensure cost effective programs.
- Manage pre-event activities and post-even evaluations.
- Create and manage communication to tenants through appropriate channels (e-blast, social media, etc.) with support of Marketing Team
2. Curate Leasing Programs
- Partner with Marketing and Asset Management to customize tour experience and follow up program.
- Research prospects and strategize on ways to appeal to the specific prospect’s goals and objectives, create “moments that matter” that can be used universally in a specific program).
- Develop and standardize follow-up strategies.
- Procure and assemble materials in advance of tour (e.g., table with COPT branding, “swag bag”, food & beverage, building specific marketing materials, etc.).
- Coordinate and manage tour floors/marketing centers.
- Manage inventory of all program materials.
- Oversee tour activity tracking and reporting (e.g., volume, conversions, asset, portfolio, etc.).
3. Customer Relations Management
- Manage and segment database of tenants and brokers for corresponding communications and programming through MailChimp.
- Report engagement.
- Manage digital advertising target lists with Asset Management and Marketing.
- Serve as liaison between internal departments including Marketing, Leasing, Property Management, Asset Management, and the tenants.

- MailChimp experience or other email platform experience a plus.
- Experience with Calendy a plus.
Other requirements:
- Onsite presence required.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, verbal and written communication skills, and analytical skills are required.
- Effectively multi-task in a deadline-driven environment.
- Positive attitude and flexibility for last minute changes.
