Description

Company Background

Mack Real Estate Group, LLC (MREG) is an integrated real estate investor, developer, operator and lender. On behalf of institutional and high net worth investors, we make and manage debt and equity investments in real estate and real estate-related securities through multiple business lines and strategies.

Our equity business is currently focused on multifamily development in high barrier to entry, major US urban markets with a view toward long term yield and hands on management. MREG currently has a pipeline of more than 5,000 multifamily units at various stages of development and operation.

Our affiliated credit business, Mack Real Estate Credit Strategies, L.P. (MRECS) is focused on transitional commercial real estate lending and other debt investments. MRECS has raised nearly $5 billion of equity capital to date across multiple investment strategies.

Collectively, our principals have decades of multi-cyclical global real estate experience and have raised and invested billions of dollars of equity capital in debt and equity real estate transactions. The Mack family has a long and pioneering history in local, national and international real estate including through their leadership of Apollo Real Estate Advisers (later renamed AREA Property Partners), which William Mack cofounded in 1993. MREG is headquartered in New York City with offices in Los Angeles, Seattle and Phoenix. The firm and its affiliates bring together the expertise to recognize and analyze new real estate investment opportunities with the resources and flexibility necessary to execute on them.
