DESCRIPTION

We are currently looking for a Vice President with 5+ years of relevant industry experience to join the Investment Sales team in our New York office. As an ES Vice President, you will be afforded new challenges with the opportunity to work within a team that is dedicated to a specific product type or business line, allowing you to develop expertise in your discipline. This position also involves a significant role in business transactions including client and investor communication, supervision of Associates, Analysts and the underwriting process, creation and execution of marketing collateral, as well as continued hands-on training.

 

RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Primary responsibilities include financial underwriting, due diligence review, transaction execution, creation of pitch and OM content, proposals, and other relevant marketing collateral.
  • Strong understanding of Eastdil Secured’s culture with the ability and desire to learn and understand the firm’s deal execution process.
  • Mentor and instruct Associates, Analysts, and other subordinates in the tools and methods required to effectively procure, underwrite, and execute their responsibilities.
  • Oversee Associates’/Analysts’ production of pitch and OM content and financial underwriting.
  • Performing comprehensive and in-depth company, real estate, and market analysis. Preparing presentations and other relevant marketing material for clients.
  • Function as an integral part of a deal team and effectively interface with senior management and clients.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet client standards.
  • Facilitate and participate in client meetings.
  • Recognize and build relationships that ultimately lead to new business.
  • Track cross-selling opportunities and take responsibility for team integration.
  • Quarterback the marketing process and make sure things are moving along as scheduled (kick-off calls, marketing updates, etc.).
  • Conduct and participate in property tours.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates must demonstrate a combination of academic aptitude, quantitative skills, personal motivation, and distinguished written and oral communication skills. It is strongly preferred that your background includes:

  • 5+ years of commercial real estate investment banking experience.
  • Dedication to building a career in the financial services industry with a focus on real estate finance.
  • Strong ARGUS, financial analysis, and Excel modeling skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform quantitative and qualitative analyses of deals using financial modeling techniques with a strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to create and execute high-quality marketing collateral with strong writing, market research, and Power Point skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities to conclusion and consistently produce high-quality work under tight time frames and agreed upon deadlines.

 

Other Desired Qualifications

  • Eastdil Secured requires each non-administrative exempt staff member (Analyst and above) to be licensed as appropriate in the respective region.
  • Willingness to work long hours in a demanding, highly focused, collaborative, and team environment.
  • MBA or Master’s degree.
